The Hanover Ag Society is excited to announce the upcoming June Classic Demolition Derby and Show & Shine, taking place on June 11, 2017, at the Hanover Ag Exhibition Park in Grunthal, MB.
In addition to the annual motorsport offering, event coordinators have added a car show to this year’s June Classic – starting at 1pm, with motors officially starting in the demo derby pit at 2pm. Registration for the derby is open till the morning of the event.
As a family friendly event, everyone is welcome to join the crowd and cheer for their favourite driver. The June Classic welcomes children aged seven and under for free and provides an afternoon of car gazing, car-slamming and mud-spinning fun. In case of rain, the June Classic will take place June 18th – Hanoverag.com will have the latest information.
“This motorsport is a must,” says Ash Wiebe, Chairman of the June Classic committee. “It was removed for a few years but the community wanted it back. At Hanover Ag, we take on the challenge of planning safe events for all our participants and spectators. Every year drivers surprise us with their creative, unique-looking builds and come fired up to smash some cars.”
