Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing male youth from Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, 13-year-old Jacoby Francois.
On July 16, 2024, Thompson RCMP received a report stating that Jacoby Francois was missing. It was reported that Jacoby was with friends and a known adult in Thompson and had travelled to Winnipeg. No one to date has been able to confirm his whereabouts, or if he had returned to Thompson.
Police believe that Jacoby may be in Thompson, Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation (Nelson House) or Winnipeg. Officers have attended several residences in those areas but have been unsuccessful at locating him.
