On May 25, 2017, at approximately 8am, officers from the Manitou RCMP Detachment responded to a report of a break and enter at the Pilot Mound Pharmacy.
Officers attended and discovered that a suspect had entered the pharmacy in the early morning hours by forcing their way through the front door. Surveillance video from the pharmacy shows the suspect as being male, slim to average build, wearing blue jeans, a black hoody, gloves and something black covering his face.
Police say that once inside, approximately 4,300 pills were taken, including numerous narcotics and controlled stimulants. RCMP warn the general public of the dangers of ingesting any prescription medication without the consent of a medical professional.
