The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce has announced the 7th annual Steinbach Burger Days event, set to take place September 14-21. This year’s event will feature 17 local restaurants who have signed up to create 17 signature burgers. These unique burgers will only be offered during the promotion.
“The creativity of our local restaurants just grows and brings new flavourful creations every year,” said Tessa Masi, Executive Director for the Steinbach Chamber. “Whether you are new to Steinbach Burger Days or a Burger Days veteran, this event is an incredible opportunity to support our local restaurants and try something new.”
Award-winning restaurants will be announced on September 25th in three categories:
- Best Tasting Burger
- Most Creative Burger
- Best Presentation

- Doener Grill Express – Augusta Burger
- Frantz Inn – Jamaican Crispy Chicken Burger
- George’s Burgers & Subs – Chipotle Swiss Crunch
- Hespeler’s Cookhouse & Tavern – Greek Lamb Burger
- Main Bread and Butter – Main Street Deli Classic
- MJ’s Kafe – Thank You… Thank You Very Much Burger
- Niakwa Pizza – Burger Pizza
- Santa Lucia Pizza – The SLP Gunslinger
- Sawney Beans – El Chorizo
- Smitty’s Family Restaurant – Jalapeno BBQ Smashburger
- The Public Brewhouse and Gallery – Citra Sidekick Ale
Members of the public are invited to visit as many of the establishments as they can to sample these exquisite creations and rate the burgers for a chance to win one of three prize packs valued at $100 each. Rate each burger you taste online at SteinbachChamber.com and be entered for a chance to win. The deadline to rate the burgers is September 21st at 11pm.
