The Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba (IIU) is currently investigating a recent officer-involved shooting incident that occurred in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald.

On September 4, 2024, Manitoba RCMP notified the IIU of an incident that occurred at approximately 11pm that same day.
