Powerview RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from the area, 20-year-old Dyrese Courchene.

On September 12, 2024, at approximately 12:20am, Powerview RCMP received a report stating that Dyrese Courchene, from Powerview-Pine Falls, was missing. Dyrese was last seen at approximately 6pm on September 11, 2024, leaving the community headed west in his pickup truck on Highway 304.

Police learned that at approximately 5pm on September 12, Courchene’s vehicle was possibly seen on Route 90, south of Winnipeg. It has not been confirmed that Courchene was in the vehicle.

Dyrese Courchene is known to hunt and golf. Family and police have checked all the sites he is known to frequent. RCMP were told that it is very unusual for Courchene to be out of touch with family and inaccessible by phone. His family and police are worried about his well-being.

Courchene is described as six feet tall, weighs 243 pounds, has straight black hair covering his ears, and brown eyes. Dyrese wears glasses and was last seen wearing a burgundy long-sleeve crew neck tee-shirt and black sweat pants with sandals.

RCMP believe that Courchene could be in Winnipeg or the Kenora area of Ontario. His pickup truck is a black Dodge Ram 1500 quad cab with Manitoba licence plate H11 457.
