The Hanover School Division (HSD) Board of Trustees has recently announced the designated catchment area for the new Parkhill School and the updated catchment boundaries for all Steinbach Early Years Schools, effective for the 2025-26 school year.

Parkhill School, scheduled to open in September 2025, is located on Parkland Drive in Steinbach. The two-storey school spans 62,304 square feet and will accommodate up to 500 Kindergarten to Grade 4 students. The modern facility includes 19 classrooms for Kindergarten to Grade 4, a gymnasium, a library, a music room, an art room, a multi-purpose room, a life-skills suite, and various support spaces. The school will also include a child-care facility with 74 spaces.

The new catchment boundaries are designed to balance enrollment numbers across Steinbach Early Years Schools, ensuring the viability of all schools while providing students with the opportunity to attend a local school close to their place of residence.
