The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce reminds the public that there will be street closures next weekend as the City prepares for the annual “Summer in the City” street festival.
Local street closures in Steinbach will be as follows:
Thursday, June 15, 2017
- 7am – Reimer Avenue will close from Elmdale Avenue to Main Street and from Main Street to First Street. Main Street will remain open to traffic.
- 6pm – Main Street will be closed from Friesen Avenue to Barkman Avenue.
Friday, June 16, 2017
- 7am to 11am – Lumber Avenue from Main Street to Elmdale Avenue.
- 5pm to Midnight – Main Street will be closed from Friesen Avenue to PTH 12 (Brandt Street).
Saturday, June 17, 2017
- 12pm to 9pm – Lumber Avenue from Main Street to First Street will be closed.
- 3pm to 9pm – Main Street west from Friesen Avenue to PTH 12 (Brandt Street) will be closed.
The Steinbach Chamber of Commerce reports that all streets will re-open Sunday, June 18 at approximately midnight.
