The City of Steinbach would like to inform the public that, starting the morning of Tuesday, November 26, traffic management will change along Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 12 and Loewen Boulevard.
The following initial traffic management plan is scheduled to be in in place until further notice:
- The service road along PTH 12, Loewen Boulevard from PTH 12 to the west side of the driveway of 21 Loewen Boulevard (Penner Int.), and a portion of eastbound Millwork Drive approaching the service road and PTH 12 will be closed.
- Traffic on southbound PTH 12 and northbound PTH 12 will return to the dedicated lanes, with southbound traffic merging into one-lane approaching Millwork Drive.
As outlined in an attached map, right-in/right-out access from southbound PTH 12 to businesses located at 2, 6, and 8 PTH 12 and right-in/right-out access from northbound PTH 12 to Loewen Boulevard east of PTH 12 will remain.
The City thanks all drivers and residents for exercising caution and following signage when travelling in the area, and for their patience as work on the Loewen and PTH 12 Intersection renewal project continues.
