The City of Steinbach has announced that Green Drop Tree Care has been contracted by the Province of Manitoba, Forestry and Peatlands Branch, to complete an urban tree inventory for the City of Steinbach.
City officials say that from now until January, you may see Green Drop Tree Care personnel throughout the community, surveying public trees for a tree inventory that will be used in the future for urban forest management.
The City notes that personnel will be wearing high visibility vests or jackets and carrying identifiable passes.
