The City of Steinbach is advising the public of upcoming lane closures at the intersection of Main Street and PTH 12, scheduled for December 15 due to necessary sewer maintenance. An upcoming road closure on Hanover Street is scheduled for December 16 -17 due to work being completed at the Southeast Event Centre.
The closures expected are as follows:
- In the evening of Sunday, December 15, at the intersection of Main Street and PTH 12, left turns will be suspended for southbound, westbound, and northbound traffic. Northbound and eastbound through traffic at the intersection will also be directed to the outer lanes due to boulevard lane closures.
- From 7am to 5pm on Monday, December 16, and Tuesday, December 17, a portion of Hanover Street between Reimer Avenue and 321 Hanover Street will be closed to all traffic, including the south approach for the daycare parking lot.
City officials say that the lanes at the intersection of Main Street and PTH 12 will be reopened Monday morning, December 16.
