Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating two recent break and enter incidents which are believed to be related, one occurred at Quarry Oaks, the other at the Marchand Store.

On June 13, 2017 at 4:14am, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a break, enter and theft at Quarry Oaks Golf Club. Police say that the incident occurred between June 12, 2017 at 11pm and June 13, 2017 at 4am. Entry by the suspects was gained by smashing the clubhouse front door glass window. Stolen in this incident was approximately $10,000 worth of golf clubs.

On June 13, 2017 at approximately 4:10am, Steinbach RCMP responded another to a break, enter and theft which occurred at the Marchand Store. Entry was gained via the front door and once inside, culprits stole cigarettes worth over $6,000 and caused approximately $2,500 worth of damage.

RCMP believe the two incidents to be related and are currently investigating.
