Beausejour RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify a male suspect involved in a recent armed robbery incident that occurred in the community.

On December 29, 2024, at approximately 10:30pm, Beausejour RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at a business located on Park Avenue in Beausejour. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered that the lone suspect had already fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Initial investigation determined that a male suspect entered the store with a bandana covering his face. The suspect then demanded money from the employee while brandishing what was described as a black hand gun.

Officers noted that the employee was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspect is described as possibly being in his mid 30s, tall in stature, and weighing approximately 200 pounds. At the time of the incident, he was noted to have a red hoodie pulled over his head with a white bandana covering his face. He was also wearing a blue plaid jacket, red sweat pants with a large black spider over the knee, and gray/brown skate shoes.

RCMP report that the suspect was last seen on foot heading north on Fifth Street.

It is unknown at this time, if the suspect was working alone or if there were others involved.
