The City of Steinbach says that the 2025 residential garbage and recycling collection schedules are in the mail and residents should see their copies in the coming week.
Officials advise changes to the areas marked with pick-up days 1, 2 and 4 in the southwest section of Steinbach (around McKenzie Avenue, Brandt Street, Hanover Road West, and Bush Farm Road).
As in past years, residents can find their collection day by finding their location on the colour-coded city map that corresponds to their pick-up day on the calendar. The map also shows where the landfill and the three community compost depots are located.
The City notes that if your mailbox is listed to not receive flyers, you will not receive a schedule
Additional physical copies will be available at City Hall, the Landfill, the Operations Building, Superstore and Sobeys until supplies last.
