The City of Steinbach would like to inform local residents of scheduled road and lane closures occurring on Loewen Boulevard and Walnut Street. The closures are expected to occur on Monday, February 24 through Tuesday, February 25.
City officials say that the closures have been scheduled to complete sewer maintenance.
The following closures can be expected:
- The southern lane on Loewen Boulevard, between Oak Crescent and east of Walnut Street will be closed.
- Walnut Street approaching Loewen Boulevard will also be closed.
Officials noted that the crosswalk on Walnut Street will remain open and local access to 446, 442 and 436 Walnut Street will be maintained.
The City thanks all motorists and pedestrians in advance for exercising caution and following all posted signage in the area as work is completed.
