Selkirk RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing male from the area, 19-year-old Kristopher Sandy.

On February 21, 2025, at approximately 1:15pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report stating that Kristopher Sandy was missing. Kristopher was last seen on February 20 at approximately 10pm. It was reported that he was leaving his residence to go for a drive in the RM of St. Clements.

Initial investigation revealed that Sandy’s vehicle was found in a ditch off Highway 12, just before 7am on February 21. When officers and emergency personnel arrived on scene, there was no sign of the driver.

Kristopher Sandy is described as 6 feet tall, having a thin build, shoulder-length curly dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a grey jacket and jeans.

Update

RCMP report that Kristopher Sandy has been located deceased. The cause of death remains under investigation.
