Pembina Valley RCMP are reporting that a recent fire that occurred at a church in Carman, Manitoba is currently being investigated by local law enforcement in coordination with the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
On March 13, 2025, at approximately 4:15am, Pembina Valley RCMP were dispatched to a fire inside a church located on 2nd Street SW in Carman, Manitoba. When officers arrived, Carman Fire and Emergency Medical Services were already on scene.
Police say that firefighters were not able to enter the building as the floor had already collapsed into the basement. Officers noted that there was no one inside the building at the time, and there were no injuries connected to this incident.
RCMP report that the fire is deemed suspicious, and are asking anyone that may have video footage between the hours of 3:30am to 4:30am in the area of the fire, to contact the detachment at 204-745-6760.
