A Steinbach area woman is facing impaired driving charges after she rear-ended an SUV at a local intersection in Steinbach, Manitoba.
At approximately 8:30pm on June 26, 2017, Steinbach RCMP were called to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Loewen Boulevard and Brandt Street in Steinbach.
Police investigation revealed that the driver of a GMC Sonoma pickup truck, a 38-year-old woman, rear-ended a Dodge Durango while she was waiting for the green traffic light. The Durango was driven by a 48 year old woman.
Police say that there were no injuries in this incident and that both drivers are residents from the Steinbach area.
RCMP report that the 38-year-old driver of the Dodge Durango will be facing impaired driving charges.
