Ted Falk, Member of Parliament for Provencher, was pleased to welcome Her Excellency Clarissa Sabita Riehl, High Commissioner for Guyana, His Excellency Pablo Guzman Laugier, Ambassador of Bolivia, and Her Excellency Petronila Garcia, Ambassador of the Philippines to Provencher for a two-day visit on July 4th and 5th.
The High Commissioner and ambassadors joined MP Falk for tours of a number of local agriculture, finance, and manufacturing businesses throughout the region. The visit was an opportunity for MP Falk to highlight business opportunities and encourage stronger economic ties between southeast Manitoba and Guyana, Bolivia, and the Philippines.
“It was an honour to host Their Excellencies here in southeast Manitoba,” said Falk. “Provencher is home to many thriving businesses and I was pleased to showcase a sampling of them to an international audience.”
