On September 9 and 10, 2017, the Hanover Ag Society along with Heartland Rodeo Association will host the Heartland Finals Rodeo at the Hanover Ag grounds in Grunthal, Manitoba.
Hanover Ag welcomes everyone to join the fun and cheer on your favourite competitors. The family friendly rodeo showcases the best riders of the season and awards the season leaders at the banquet on Saturday evening.
“Carman has done a great job of hosting the finals the past number of years leaving big shoes to fill,” said Curtis Dawydiuk, President of the Hanover Ag Society. “I’m confident in our team and their abilities in hosting this remarkable event.” Dawydiuk describes the opportunity as a privilege and honour.
The Heartland Rodeo Association was created in 1995 to promote and continue the sport of rodeo in Manitoba, with the entire family in mind. It is built upon family oriented weekends, giving contestants of all ages the opportunity to follow their passions. Today, it is still a strong and growing association, hosting rodeos throughout the season in various locations throughout the province. Competitors strive towards achieving the highest number of points in their respective event throughout the rodeo season. To end each season, the Heartland Rodeo Association holds a finals rodeo weekend, where top qualifiers compete for a chance to win awards and prize money.
