Powerview RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing female teen from Powerview, 16-year-old Taya Guimond.
Police say that on October 2, 2017, at 4:30pm, Powerview RCMP received a report of a missing teen from the community. Taya Guimond, 16-years of age, was last seen in Powerview earlier in the day and is now believed to be in Selkirk or Winnipeg.
Guimond is described as Indigenous, 5’3″ tall, has a heavier build, brown eyes and straight shoulder length black hair. She is believed to have traveled to the Selkirk or Winnipeg area.
RCMP are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone with information to call the Powerview RCMP at 204-367-8728 or Manitoba CrimeStoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
