A 70-year-old Carman man has recently died after sustaining critical injuries as a result of rolling his ATV.
On Saturday, October 21, at approximately 10pm, Carman RCMP responded to a report of an ATV rollover and an unresponsive male in a field just east of Carman, Manitoba. Upon arrival, officers located the ATV and the deceased male driver.
Initial police investigation has determined that the driver of the ATV, a 70-year-old Carman man, was driving alone in a farmer’s field when he lost control and rolled the ATV – suffering critical injuries as a result.
RCMP are unsure at this time whether the driver was wearing a helmet. Alcohol is not being considered a factor in this incident and police continue to investigate.
