Steinbach Police Dog Enzo aided local officers in tracking down a suspect connected to an armed robbery that recently occurred at a Main Street business in Steinbach, Manitoba.
On October, 22, 2017, at approximately 10pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of an armed robbery at a business located on Main Street in Steinbach. Police say that the suspect was reported to have a firearm and that an undisclosed amount of currency was stolen.
RCMP report that Police Dog Enzo and his handler were able to track the suspect from the scene to a nearby residence. As a result, a 14-year-old male youth was taken into custody and charged with numerous offenses including robbery using a firearm and carrying a concealed weapon. The suspect remains in custody.
