Steinbach RCMP, with the assistance of Cpl. Henderson and police service dog Enzo, seized a quantity of stolen items and a firearm from a residence located in Mitchell, Manitoba.
On October 30, 2017 at approximately 5:04pm, Steinbach RCMP along with Cpl. Henderson and police service dog Enzo, executed a search warrant at a residence in Mitchell, Manitoba. As a result of the search, six individuals were arrested and numerous items were seized. The stolen items are described as construction tools and accessories. Seized as well in the search was a prohibited weapon and ammunition.
RCMP report that 46-year-old Edward Gallie of Steinbach, Manitoba, has been charged for possession of stolen property, possession of a prohibited weapon, possession of a prohibited weapon and ammunition while prohibited. Gallie has been remanded for a court appearance in Winnipeg.
Police noted that all other individuals arrested were released without charge.
