On October 28, 2017, at approximately 8:50am, officers from the Cranberry Portage and Flin Flon RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 10, approximately 35 kilometres north of Cranberry Portage.
Police investigators believe that a semi-trailer, being driven by a 34-year-old Creighton, Saskatchewan man, was traveling south on Highway 10 when it entered the right-hand side shoulder and over corrected, causing the semi-trailer to flip over on its roof.
RCMP report that the driver of the semi-trailer was pronounced deceased at the scene. It is unknown if he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision.
Officers from the Cranberry Portage and Flin Flon RCMP Detachments along with a RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
