Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre’s “A Christmas Carol” will be performed in Steinbach on November 19, 2017 at the Pat Porter Active Living Centre.
Each season, the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre tours their live theatre production to communities throughout Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. As part of the tour, Steinbach will be vistited on November 19 to kick off the holiday season with their version of the Christmas classic “A Christmas Carol”.
Adapted from Charles Dickens’ well-known novel, Rod Beattie stars as cold-hearted and greedy Ebenezer Scrooge, a man who is anything but jolly at Christmas time. Even his nephew Fred and clerk Cratchit get nothing but a “bah humbug” when spreading holiday cheer. But something shifts when the ghost of his business partner Marley visits to save him from his own bitter demise. Watch his epic transformation in this classic tale of compassion, hope and redemption that will leave hearts glowing.
