In the late afternoon of November 1, 2017, Nelson House RCMP executed a search warrant under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence located in the local community.
As a result of the search, officers located and seized approximately 39 grams of cocaine and a large quantity of Canadian currency.
Police have arrested and charged three individuals, all from Nelson House. Included in the charges was possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.
RCMP report that 29-year-old Trapper Linklater and 26-year-old Patrick Linklater were remanded into custody as well as a 15-year-old youth.
