Significant changes have taken place at the Steinbach Chamber of Commerce in the past few weeks, including the appointment of four new board members.
The recent Annual General Meeting for the Steinbach Chamber saw the election and appointment of four new board members, which was followed by the nomination of a new President and Vice President at the following Board meeting.
The Chamber noted that Tim Schmitt from Oak Leaf Promotions was elected as the new Chamber President for the next two years, after serving as the Vice President for the past two years. Wayne Patram from Barkman Concrete was been elected as the Chamber Vice President, after serving as the Chair of the Business Development Committee for the past two years and Dwayne Doroshuk has accepted another term as Treasurer.
The current Directors for the Steinbach Chamber Board are:
- Cameron Bergen – HyLife (Past President)
- Carley Smith – Steinbach Credit Union
- Christine Beaumont – Paul Craft Financial Inc.
- Brett Adnum – Golden West Broadcasting
- Gerald Banman – Harvest Insurance Agency
- Kent Ledingham – Ledingham GM
- Matt Penner – Print Studio One/Three-Six North Marketing
- Samuel Teichroew – Smith Neufeld Jodoin LLP
The Steinbach Chamber also thanked the following outgoing Board Members for their service:
