Bob Lagassé, MLA for Dawson Trail, announced that the Dawson Trail constituency will benefit from community development funding from the province. Recipients of this funding will be eight local programs which will receive a total of $71,855.
“Our Progressive Conservative government understands the importance of investing in community development programs that enrich the lives of Manitobans,” said Lagassé. “I am pleased to see our constituency will benefit from this significant province-wide funding.”
Funding in the Dawson Trail constituency is part of an announcement of over $2.6 million in grants from the Community Places, Partners 4 Growth, Hometown Manitoba, and Neighbourhoods Alive! programs to community development programs across Manitoba. Local programs that are receiving funding include:
- Richer Community Club Inc., Richer, $2,779
- Seine River Minor Ball, Ile des Chenes, $41,288
- Bibliothéque Ste. Anne, Ste. Anne, $2,738
- RM of Ritchot, $23,050 (combined)
- Affinity Insurance Brokers, Ste. Adolphe, $1,000
- St. Adolphe Pharmacy and Clinic, $1,000
