Hanover School Division Board of Trustees are pleased to announce the appointments of Shelley Amos and Colin Campbell as Assistant Superintendents effective August 1, 2018.

Mrs. Amos brings 24 years of administrative and instructional experience to her new appointment. She is currently the Principal at Woodlawn School, having served in this role since 2011. Prior to becoming Principal, Mrs. Amos was Vice-Principal at Woodlawn School from 2009-2011. Her teaching experience includes seven years at Woodlawn School from 2002-2009. Prior to joining the Hanover School Division in 2002, Mrs. Amos taught in the Transcona-Springfield and Lord Selkirk School Divisions, and early in her career served as Director of Spring Meadows School Age Centre. Mrs. Amos completed a Bachelor of Education Degree in 1991, Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Special Education in 2010, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 2018.

Mr. Campbell brings 15 years of administrative and instructional experience to his new appointment. Currently the Principal at Elmdale School, he has held this position since 2015. Prior to becoming Principal, Mr. Campbell was Vice-Principal at Woodlawn School from 2011-2015. Mr. Campbell also brings teaching experience to his new role, having taught at Mitchell Elementary School from 2006-2011. Prior to 2006 he was employed for three years in Pembina Trails School Division. Mr. Campbell completed a Bachelor of Education Degree in 2006, Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education in 2012, and a Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 2017.

HSD Superintendent-CEO Randy Dueck commented, “Both appointees bring significant administrative experience to their new roles, having served in various leadership capacities during their tenure in Hanover School Division. I am very excited to be working with these two proven leaders as a Senior Leadership Team.”
