Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating an incident where an amount of cash was stolen from a local restaurant located on Brandt Street in Steinbach, Manitoba.
Police say that on March 24, 2018, at approximately 11:30pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a theft that had occurred at the A&W Restaurant located on Brandt Street in Steinbach, Manitoba. It was reported that a female employee was closing up when a male dressed all in black, wearing a mask and a toque, entered the restaurant. The suspect then went on to steal an undisclosed amount of cash.
The male suspect is described as 5’8″ tall, has a slim build, light brown or hazel eyes, and was wearing gloves. He was carrying a black drawstring gym bag.
RCMP report that the employee was unharmed and was not threatened. As well, there was no weapon was presented during this incident.
