As a result of a search, Thompson RCMP seized a quantity of drugs, paraphernalia and cash from a home located in the community.
On April 24, 2018, Thompson RCMP executed a search warrant under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a residence located on Ospwagon Drive in the community of Thompson.
During the search, police located and seized approximately 207 grams of crack cocaine, 100 grams of marijuana, a large sum of Canadian Currency and various drug paraphernalia.
RCMP report that 44-year-old Ryan Kirkpatrick and 20-year-old Jayna Baker, both from Thompson, were arrested. They have both been remanded into custody and are facing numerous drug-related charges, including production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
