Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a theft incident where a boat and trailer were stolen from a local Steinbach hotel parking lot.
Sometime during the overnight hours of June 9, 2018, a 2008 Lund 186 Tyee GL fiberglass boat with a 175 horsepower Mercury motor was stolen from the parking lot of a local hotel located in Steinbach.
Police say that there was a significant amount of fishing equipment stolen with the boat. It was also noted that the boat trailer had a South Dakota licence plate.
