The streets of Steinbach will be glittering during this year’s annual Pioneer Days Parade on Friday August 3, as the theme of “50th Golden Anniversary” has been chosen to commemorate the historic event.
Main Street will be packed to watch more than 120 entries this year. The parade will start at the Steinbach Fire Hall at 10am on Friday, August 3 and proceed west down Main Street ending at Stone Bridge Crossing.
Parade judges will be giving out prizes to entries in five categories which include historical, antique, animal entry, theme and judges choice.
Anyone interested in participating in the parade can register their float at the Chamber website. Parade entry deadline is Monday, July 23, 2018.
In the interest of public safety, the Steinbach Chamber reminds all spectators that failure to stay behind the marked barricade tape could result in serious injury.
