Poplar River RCMP are currently investigating a homicide that recently occurred at a residence in the community of Poplar River, Manitoba.
On July 7, 2018, at approximately 12am, Poplar River RCMP responded to a report of an unresponsive male at a residence in the community of Poplar River. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 47-year-old male within the residence.
Police say that the death is being investigated as a homicide. RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit are assisting with the ongoing investigation.
