On July 14, 2018, at approximately 3am, Dauphin RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing at a residence in the 100 block of 9th Street SW in Dauphin, Manitoba.
Upon arrival, officers located a deceased 32-year-old man within the residence.
RCMP report that 29-year-old Reginald Morrisseau from Fishing Lake First Nation, Saskatchewan, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with Manslaughter. Morrisseau was remanded into custody and appeared in Dauphin Provincial Court on Monday, July 16.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Unit continue to assist with this investigation.
