Ted Falk, Member of Parliament for Provencher, participated in this past weekend’s “We Need a Law” flag demonstration at A.D. Penner Park in Steinbach.
The flag demonstration took place on Saturday, October 1, 2016, and saw approximately 100 volunteers setting up the display. The mission of “We Need a Law” is to build and mobilize a movement of Canadians for the purpose of passing laws to protect children before birth.
“If Canada is going to continue to be a nation that is blessed, I believe that we must draft and pass legislation that puts in place protection for unborn children,” said MP Falk. “I think that we need to start a national conversation and I believe that we as Canadians are capable of discussing this issue with open hearts and informed minds, ultimately coming up with the right solution. No Law is not a solution.”
