Manitoba Infrastructure reports the westbound curb lane, next to the sidewalk on the Red River Bridge along the South Perimeter Highway (PTH 100), is closed for inspection following the appearance of surface cracks in the bridge deck concrete.
A detailed inspection and assessment of the lane is being conducted to determine the necessary repairs and a timeframe for reopening.
Stakeholders such as the municipality, emergency services and RCMP have been advised.
