Selkirk RCMP along with the RCMP Major Crimes Unit are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying any suspicious persons or activities that may be connected to a recent homicide investigation.
On November 16, 2018, at approximately 9:15pm, Selkirk RCMP responded to a call of a 64-year-old male in cardiac arrest at a residence located in Selkirk. Officers attended and located the male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The death is being treated as a homicide.
Police are asking the public for any details on suspicious persons or activities, and/or persons hitchhiking in the Selkirk areas of Jemima Bay, Main Street, old Henderson Highway, and Highway 9 south to Lockport between 6am on November 16 and 6am November 17, 2018.
