On October 3, 2016, just after 10:30am, RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Garven Road between Provincial Road 207 and Pine Ridge Road.
Police say that an eastbound pickup truck collided with a westbound gravel truck. The driver of the pickup truck, a 42-year-old male from Oakbank, was pronounced deceased on scene. The male driver of the gravel truck suffered minor injuries.
An RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
