Thompson RCMP are currently investigating the death of a 29-year-old woman who was discovered outside a local residence.
On January 6, 2019, at approximately 5:50pm, Thompson RCMP received a call reporting that a deceased female was found outside a residence. Officers immediately attended and were able to identify the female as a 29-year-old Thompson resident who had been reported missing in the afternoon of January 3, 2019.
Police say that it is undetermined at this time whether criminality is a factor in the death.
The RCMP Major Crime Unit is assisting with the ongoing investigation and an autopsy is pending.
