Steinbach RCMP recently located a stolen truck destroyed by fire at location near Mitchell, Manitoba.
On February 11, 2019, Steinbach RCMP received a report that a 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck had been stolen from a residence located on road 34 North in the RM of La Broquerie. The truck was noted to have stripes down the side and license plate number GMB 654.
Police say that the owner of the truck reported that at approximately 1am, the vehicle had been taken from the driveway of the residence.
RCMP report that the stolen pickup was located on the same day behind some barns of Shady Nook Farms in Mitchell, Manitoba at 11:05pm. The truck was discovered engulfed in flames and local fire personnel attended the scene to extinguish the fire.
There are no suspects at this time and police are still looking for suspects or any information about possible suspects.
