Steinbach RCMP are reporting that three individuals are facing charges after being caught stealing groceries at a local store.

On May 25, 2019, at 7pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of three people shoplifting at a local grocery store. Police say that security personnel had monitored the male and female suspects in the store and watched them all walk out of the store with unpaid groceries.

The male suspect was apprehended by police at his vehicle, which was later found to be unregistered. Police noted that the male suspect was without a licence and prohibited from driving Canada Wide. The two females suspects were apprehended when they exited the store with their carts full of unpaid groceries.

RCMP report that the male and female suspects will be facing theft-related charges. The male suspect will also be facing charges of driving while prohibited and driving an unregistered vehicle.
