A 29-year-old woman has died as a result of a recent vehicle collision on Road 90 North in the RM of Rockwood, Manitoba.
On June 25, 2019, at approximately 12:20pm, Stonewall RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Road 90 North and Road 7 East in the RM of Rockwood.
Investigators determined that an SUV, driven by a 29-year-old female from the RM of Rockwood, was traveling west on Road 90 North when it collided with a pickup truck traveling south on Road 7 East. The pickup was driven by a 51-year-old male from the RM of Rockwood.
Police say that the female driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased at the scene. The male driver was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
RCMP report that neither drugs nor alcohol are suspected as factors in the collision. Stonewall RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
