A number of suspects have been arrested by RCMP in connection to a recent incident involving firearms at a residence located in Selkirk, Manitoba.
On July 6, 2019, at approximately 3:20am, Selkirk RCMP responded to a firearms incident at a location on Queen Avenue in Selkirk. Police say that initial information received was that several suspects had barricaded themselves inside a residence on Queen Avenue.
RCMP report that numerous officers from Selkirk and the Emergency Response Team were on scene and after several hours, all suspects were arrested.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
