A 21-year-old Rosenort man has recently died after the vehicle he was driving rolled into a ditch near Highway 23 in the RM of Morris.
On July 28, 2019, at approximately 5:30am, officers from the Morris RCMP detachment responded to a single-vehicle collision that occurred on Provincial Road 422, two kilometres north of Highway 23 in the RM of Morris.
Police investigation has determined that a pickup truck, being driven by a 21-year-old male from Rosenort, was traveling north on Provincial Road 422 when it left the roadway, entered the ditch and rolled.
RCMP report that the driver of the pickup truck, who was not wearing his seatbelt, was pronounced deceased at the scene. It is believed that speed may be a factor in the collision.
Officers from the Morris RCMP along with a Forensic Collision Reconstructionist continue to investigate.
