Portage La Prairie RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of 17-year-old, Wyatt Martin-French who is wanted in connection to a number of recent assault incidents.
On September 1, 2019, at approximately 11:05pm, Portage La Prairie RCMP responded to an assault with a weapon on Spruce Bay in Portage La Prairie. A 17-year-old male used bear mace to spray several people and then fled.
As officers were investigating the incident, additional 911 calls were received advising that the same suspect was involved with assaulting people with bear mace at a second residence on 6th Street NE in Portage La Prairie.
Police are now searching for 17-year-old, Wyatt Martin-French from Portage La Prairie. Martin-French is described as 5’5″ tall, weighs 135 lbs, has a slender build, with black hair and brown eyes.
Wyatt Martin-French is wanted for numerous charges including five counts of assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
