Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating two incidents involving mischief and theft that recently occurred at local properties in Steinbach.
On September 26, 2019, Steinbach RCMP received a report that damage had occurred to a shed door on a property located on Hanover Street in Steinbach. Police say that the mischief occurred sometime between September 25 and 26, 2019. Police noted that nothing appeared to have been taken, however the shed door was damaged as a result.
On the same day, Steinbach RCMP also received a report of theft from a shed. In this incident, a resident on Coral Crescent in Steinbach reported that culprits entered a shed located on the property and stole a jerry can of gasoline.
RCMP say that investigation into these incidents are ongoing.
