Manitoba Municipal Relations reminds all Manitobans that daylight saving time will end in Manitoba early November 3, 2019, when clocks will be set back one hour.
Under The Official Time Act, daylight saving time ends on the first Sunday in November and resumes the second Sunday in March. A private member’s bill was introduced in the Manitoba legislature that proposed abolishing daylight saving time. However, that bill did not pass and The Official Time Act remains in effect.
The official time change back to standard time will occur this year at 2 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 3 at which time clocks should be set back to 1 a.m.
