A 25-year-old Brandon woman has recently died after the car she was driving collided with a semi on Highway 2 in the RM of Sifton, Manitoba.
On November 1, 2019, at approximately 10:30am, Westman RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 2, near Highway 254 in the RM of Sifton. Police say that a car traveling east on Highway 2, crossed into the westbound lane and collided with a westbound semi.
Police stated that the driver and lone occupant of the car, a 25-year-old Brandon woman, was pronounced deceased on scene. The driver of the semi, a 27-year-old male, was not injured.
RCMP report that alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in this collision.
